Sports Digest: Vouliagmeni stuns Olympiakos
WATER POLO: Vouliagmeni upset favorite Olympiakos to win the men’s Greek Cup. In the final of the Final Four that took place over the weekend at Karpenissi, Vouliagmeni defeated the Reds 8-7.
SOCCER: Apollon Smyrnis and Lamia have mathematically secured promotion to the Super League, leaving Thessaloniki favorite Aris in third at the second division.
SHOOTING: Olympic champion Anna Korakaki won the bronze medal at the World Cup event in Munich, Germany, finishing third at the 25-meter pistol. She also collected her Best Female Shooter of the Year Award for 2016.
