Reds get on top beating PAOK

Olympiakos beat PAOK 2-1 at home on October 2 to join the Thessaloniki side, as well as AEK and Atromitos, on top of the Super League table in soccer, but with games in hand.

The Reds preserved their perfect record with their third win in three games by coming back from 1-0 down in Piraeus: PAOK led with Sotiris Balafas after 25 minutes, but Olympiakos replied with goals from David Fuster and Rafik Djebbour before the end of the first half.

AEK also has nine points, but from four games, after beating Panionios 1-0 away through an injury-time header by Costas Manolas.

Atromitos has nine from five games, thanks to a 2-1 home win over Panetolikos.

In other weekend games OFI beat Iraklio rival Ergotelis 1-0, PAS Yiannina downed visiting Kerkyra 2-1, and Aris shared a goalless draw with Xanthi.

Panathinaikos did not play as it was scheduled to face Kavala that has been relegated.
