Cup Final is news to Cyprus

Casting doubt on an announcement last week by the Greek soccer federation (EPO) that the Greek Cup Final will take place at the GSP Stadium in Nicosia on May 20, the spokesman for the Cyprus Police said it has not received any formal notification of such an arrangement.
“What I can say is that beyond the media reports, we have no official information. When we do, we’ll give our position. There is a lot of data that needs to be analyzed,” said Christos Andreou, speaking to Super Sport FM 104.0.
“We need to know if fans will come, how many etc,” he said, noting that it is not a foregone conclusion that the event will take place in Nicosia.
