US Embassy, consular services closed for Columbus Day

The US Embassy in Athens and its Consular Section, the US Consulate General in Thessaloniki, and all US government offices in Greece will be closed on Monday, in observance of Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples’ Day. 

This is a US federal holiday that celebrates the anniversary of Christopher Columbus’ arrival in the Americas and honors indigenous American people’s history and culture.
