Guler hails ‘positive period’ in Greek-Turkish relations

Turkish Defense Minister Yasar Guler said Turkey and Greece are experiencing a “positive period” in relations, adding that his country strives for peaceful solutions.
“I believe that we are going through a positive period in the development of our relations with Greece,” he said on the sidelines of a multinational military exercise on Saturday.
“As Turkey, we always act with the idea that peace has no losers and war has no winners. Of course, we will not make any concessions in our national interests as we strive for a peaceful solution. We are closely monitoring developments. We don’t want to have problems with anyone, especially with our neighbors,” he added.
