No turning back to SYRIZA, New Left leader says
New Left leader Alexis Haritsis ruled out the possibility of party members rejoining SYRIZA, arguing that main opposition carries “a load of toxicity” and an “absence of political proposals” that cannot be overlooked.
“I believe that it has closed its historical cycle. This does not mean that we cannot discuss with forces that wish to return to the field of left-wing politics,” he said in an interview with Kathimerini.
