Multiple text book option to begin in schools next year, minister says

Teachers will be able to choose among a selection of multiple books for their classes while all school text books will gradually be changed, Education Minister Kyriakos Pierrakakis said on Thursday.

The pilot period will kick off at the beginning of the new school year in 2025, though the actual books will be available in 2026, he added.
