SYRIZA leader to hold one-on-one meetings with citizens
In an unusual move, citizens will have a chance to meet with the leader of the main SYRIZA opposition on Thursday.
In a social media post on Wednesday, Stefanos Kasselakis announced that his office at the party’s headquarters in Koumoundourou Square will be open for one-on-one meetings with citizens from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
“I want to discuss your problems and concerns, learn your views and expectations. You don’t need to do anything beforehand. Just come directly and meet me without a prior appointment. I look forward to seeing you,” he said.
This initiative comes amid internal friction within SYRIZA due to poor ratings, which have also sparked a debate about potential collaboration with other center-left parties.
