Uprooting clientelism

Modifying the rules of Parliament that give former parliamentary group presidents the right to appoint non-permanent staff must go further than introducing a ban on the hiring of family members.

Privileges of this sort smack of clientelism and must be eliminated. 

Otherwise they will forever give a bad name to the political system and parliamentary politics.
