State of stupor
The upcoming European Parliament, regional and local elections are important on many different levels. They are nevertheless not more significant than the escalating threats against the country’s national sovereignty.

The reflexes of Athens’ foreign policy appear to be in a state of stupor. The alarm should have already gone off with the announcement of Turkey’s plans for offshore drilling operations in Cyprus’ exclusive economic zone.
The Greek government must waste no time in taking steps to contain the risk posed by Ankara’s unfolding policies.
