Time for PM to clear the air

We’ve been waiting a long time for the Greek prime minister to become aware of the magnitude of the inefficiency and – more importantly – lack of coherence in the ministries, government agencies and services involved in the area of investment.

However, Alexis Tsipras is the head of the government and the political boss of every single official working in those ministries and agencies, including those individuals who have contributed to creating a climate that is hostile to investments by their public comments and constant backpedaling. As such, he has the power to impose the government’s position, to bring all of its officials into line and to get rid of those who refuse to comply because they disagree with central policy, or for whatever other reason.

Such delays in coming to terms with reality and doing something about it simply look like he’s trying to duck his responsibilities.
