Destined to fail
The coalition government’s initiative regarding changes to the country’s Constitution proved to be well below expectations.
Essentially, the initiative aims to serve the tactical targets of a group of people wishing to stay in power no matter what and for as long as possible. Clearly this constitutional revision will fall through.
It is unfortunate that Greece is missing out on the opportunity to correct a series of endemic problems which have plagued the country in the last few decades and begin its reconstruction on solid foundations.
