Outrageous behavior

The way in which Greece’s leftist-led government is operating in certain sensitive areas gives rise to a series of questions.

Back in the days when SYRIZA was the country’s main opposition, the Coalition of the Radical Left was constantly waving the flag of morality, to the point of repeatedly accusing previous governments over obviously necessary and transparent decisions.

SYRIZA, currently the major partner in the country’s coalition government, is now quietly developing and legislating amendments regarding special interests.

In doing so, the administration isn’t even bothering to keep up appearances.

Needless to say, this is the kind of political behavior which ends up enraging public opinion.

At the same time, it also reaffirms the prevailing belief that nothing ever changes in this country.
