Readiness, not hysteria
The threat of Islamic terrorism is real and concerns the whole of Europe, including Greece.
Anyone who believes that the terrorist attacks carried out at the Bataclan theater and other parts of Paris in November last year and the Brussels international airport and metro Tuesday do not affect Greek interests in the slightest are sorely mistaken.
What is vital now is for Greek authorities to display readiness and professionalism to prevent any act of extremism from being carried out on Greek soil.
Importantly, this must happen without any silly displays of hysteria or exaggeration.
The Greek authorities must act systematically.
