Will they make it?
The Greek political system never wanted to claim ownership of much-needed reforms. To a certain extent, this is the reason why the adjustment program failed in the first place.
Nevertheless, the country is currently facing a hard-to-believe new situation. Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and his SYRIZA-Independent Greeks cabinet are using every means possible to emphasize their disagreement with regard to everything they have agreed, voted and pledged to implement.
There are those who would argue that this is not an issue, as long as the measures are passed without major reaction. Indeed, if self-flagellation is an effective propaganda technique, there is hardly any reason to worry.
What is being disputed, however, is whether they will dare, and above all, succeed, in implementing what they appear to be exorcising.
