Golden Visa distortions

The decision to raise the threshold for acquiring a Golden Visa, that is Greek citizenship in exchange for a real estate purchase, seems to be paying off.

These are not the kind of investments that will add to the country’s wealth in the long run. Quite the opposite; they produce more distortions than rewards.
