Student housing

A painful aspect of the social problem of housing in Greece is accommodation for students, the cost of which, especially in large cities and tourist destinations, is influencing the academic choices of prospective students.

If the wider problem of the housing market is intractable, the same justification cannot apply for student housing. Large universities should, with the help of the state, be able to offer decent housing to those students who need it.
