Defense against fakes

“Intelligent” frauds using deepfake videos are just the beginning. Soon, with the growth of artificial intelligence, we risk finding ourselves in a digital environment where reality will be indistinguishable from fiction, with all that this implies for the erosion of the public sphere. 

It may sound like a distant dystopia, but the superweapons of deception are already here. Defenses need to be designed at a national and European level.
