Most Greek islands, including big ones like Crete, have a shortage of water resources.

As every tourism season starts to get into full swing and arrivals start breaking one new record after another, local authorities and residents are becoming increasingly anxious about whether the networks – and not just for water – will manage with the spike in demand.

The simple fact is that you cannot be a champion in tourism without the necessary infrastructure.
