Limits to protest

Greek farmers face difficult challenges. Their sector is in transition, with adverse conditions for production costs. Their concern about their future is legitimate.

However, it cannot be expressed at the expense of society as a whole. The protests cannot paralyze life in the cities or traffic on the national highways.

They must prove that they themselves are not seeking a confrontation.
