The state and preschool
A great effort has indeed been made so that no child of preschool age is left out a place at a nursery.
However, it seems that now the state cannot respond in time to the commitments it has undertaken in order to ensure the uninterrupted provision of this service by private preschools too.
We must, at some point, stop being condescending to the state’s untrustworthiness, thinking that it is free to move at its own bureaucratic pace.
