An endless bottleneck

The situation on the streets showed that traffic had been left to its own devices. The traffic police were absent and the equipment that had once been installed to prevent congestion remained inactive. 

Now it seems that a serious effort is being made to reboot a part of everyday life that doesn’t just affect the mental health of drivers: It has a major impact on the city’s economic life and productivity, if you count the lost working hours spent stuck in traffic.
