The ballot and longevity

Elections are not determined only by the programs presented by the candidates. Sometimes the result is decided by volatile, emotional factors.

But in the long run, politics and politicians are judged by what they have to offer – not just by their charm. In the end, that is what the new leader of the main opposition will also be judged upon, especially in an environment where the experience of populism – and its cost – is still fresh on our memory.
