The vicious cycle of illegality
The planned reintroduction of the opportunity to legalize buildings constructed without a permit should leave no loopholes. The conditions set by the existing law must be rigorously adhered to.
The state has provided numerous opportunities in the past to settle the existing reality. Leniency should only apply to old structures, and only in locations where they do not pose a threat to the natural environment.
Every time this legal window was opened in the past, it was touted as the last. This vicious cycle of illegality must at some point be halted for good.
