Stopping the bleeding

It was already obvious and it became even more painfully apparent during the pandemic; namely that Greece’s public health care system cannot provide adequate salaries to keep its doctors.

The recently announced pay increases are just not enough. That is why the flexibility now proposed is a step in the right direction.

The National Health System (ESY) has lost valuable staff that sought a brighter future overseas and in the private sector. It’s time to stop the bleeding.
