Unaffordable housing

The data on the shortage of decent and affordable student housing has once again brought the issue of rising rent rates back into focus. 

There is not enough housing stock for competition to work. The rent market has reached levels that are prohibitive for young people who are now starting their professional lives. 

The ideas that have been presented from time to time should now start being tested in practice.
