Justice under pressure

The mission of judges has become very difficult nowadays. Amid an angry and divided society and a highly polarized political landscape, judges are called upon to make decisions on high-profile cases that are laden with ulterior motives. 

The pressure is sometimes terrifying and the climate created in social and online media can become suffocating.

It takes maturity and bravery from judicial officials to protect the rule of law under such conditions.
