Ending dependence

Greece’s exit from its status of enhanced surveillance is very good news. It took a lot of effort and pain to reach this result. 

It is important for the country to integrate fiscal discipline as something vital for its own survival and strengthening. 

The coronavirus pandemic inevitably created a culture of dependence on benefits and state aid. 

Ending this unhealthy and unsustainable culture will not be an easy task, but it is absolutely necessary.
