Is the EU listening?

Political developments in North Macedonia show that confusing European politics and the inherent indecision can have serious side effects for the volatile Balkan countries waiting in the bloc’s “lobby” to start accession talks. 

A country’s European orientation cannot only be maintained with arrogance and self-righteousness. The pro-European forces in the Balkans must have practical support.
