Wildfire breaks out in central Greece

A wildfire broke out on Tuesday in the Agia Triada area of Farsala, central Greece.

The fire started in crop residues and at the moment no residential area is threatened.

Some 30 firefighters with nine vehicles have been dispatched to the scene, while an helicopter is assisting from the air.

Earlier, an emergency warning was sent to residents from the 112, advising them to be on alert.
