Greek beats Kournikova
Greek tennis player Eleni Daniilidou celebrates her victory over Anna Kournikova of Russia in their first round match at the Nasdaq-100 Masters Series tournament in Miami, Florida, late on Thursday. Daniilidou, ranked 61 in the world, defeated No. 65 Kournikova 7-5, 6-3 and advanced to the second round of the tournament, where she will meet the No.1 seed, Jennifer Capriati. The two first met in the Australian Open earlier this year, with Capriati winning in three sets.
