Turkish fighter jet flies over Samos

A Turkish F-16 flew over the eastern coast of the island of Samos on Friday afternoon, the Hellenic National Defense General Staff (GEETHA) said.

The fighter jet flew at 20,000 feet, it said.

The aircraft was identified and intercepted by Greek fighter planes in line with international rules of engagement.
