Firefighters battle blaze on island of Kythira
Greek firefighters backed by three water-dropping planes were on Thursday battling a wildfire in the area of Agia Pelagia on the island of Kythira south of the Peloponnese.
No injuries were reported and the extent of any property damage was not immediately clear.
More than 2,300 hectares of land was scorched on the island in the summer of 2017.
