Body of man pulled from the sea in Piraeus

The body of a man has been pulled from the sea at Piraeus, south of Athens, police said Wednesday.

The man, believed to be in his 80s, was found with a plastic bag tied around his head, police said.

Police, who have cordoned off the area, are investigating the death and await the findings of a forensic autopsy.

Reports said they are treating the case as a criminal act.
