Initiative for the disabled
A nationwide campaign has been launched to highlight the needs of the disabled who are stranded at home, to record the problems they face and will continue to as long as the pandemic lasts, and to provide assistance to them.
The initiative was launched by the “Zero Tolerance” movement for the rehabilitation of the disabled, which consists of disabled and non-disabled members and helps those in need in a variety of ways, including picking up medicines from pharmacies, supplies from supermarkets and other basic items.
“We wanted to create a nationwide network to cover as many people as possible,” said group member Sofia Haidopoulou.
