Vandals disrupt traffic on Patission Street
A group of about 40 hooded protesters set fire to garbage dumpsters outside the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) on Wednesday and vandalized some storefronts.
According to witnesses, the vandals emerged from the university campus on Patission Street and some scattered fliers expressing solidarity with demonstrators in Chile, where an increase in public transport prices has sparked violent protests.
