The arched walkway on the grounds of the Olympic Stadium, designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava, was illuminated for the first time on Tuesday night. Yesterday, Athens Mayor Dora Bakoyannis said 515 musical performances by Greek ensembles and 116 foreign shows would be staged in Athens over the Olympics period.
