Thirteen supermarkets damaged in coordinated attacks around Attica

Unidentified vandals launched a coordinated attack against 13 supermarkets in different parts of Attica early Thursday morning, the state-run Athens-Macedonian News Agency reported.

The attackers threw paint and smashed windows of My Market stores in Vyronas, Nea Smyrni, Glyfada, Pangrati, Kypseli, Aghios Eleftherios, Sepolia, Kerameikos, Ilion and Petralona between 3 and 3.10 a.m.

Three suspects were briefly detained by police before being released.
