Korydallos prisoner stabbed to death
One inmate is dead and seven injured at Athens’s high security jail of Korydallos after a brawl broke out between prisoners belonging to rival ethnic groups, reports said Thursday.
Reports said the victim, whose identity was not immediately made public died after being stabbed with a knife.
The reason for the brawl, involving ethnic Greeks from the former Soviet Union, Albanian and Georgian inmates, was not known.
