Hospital cleaners protest outside Parliament, traffic disrupted

Cleaners employed by the capital’s Dromokaiteio psychiatric hospital and the Aghios Savvas cancer hospital staged a sit-down protest outside Parliament on Wednesday, demanding the renewal of their short-term contracts.

Protesters are also calling for better working conditions and job security.

Police warned of traffic disruption.
