Gas canister explosion damages Peristeri court gate
Police reported an explosion outside a court at Peristeri, western Athens, that caused damage to the gate of the building in the early hours of Friday.
The explosion was caused by gas canisters planted and ignited through a mechanism by unknown assailants at the entrance of the court around 3 a.m.
Besides the gate of the Peristeri court, a nearby parked car was also damaged by the explosion.
