Police charge man with internet fraud, personal data breach

Greek cyber crime police have charged a foreign-based individual with internet fraud and breaching personal data protection laws.

Police said the suspect, who is serving a prison sentence in an undisclosed European country for similar crimes, had posed as an online estate agent advertising nonexistent apartment rentals abroad and collected large sums of money in advance from unsuspecting Greek clients.
