UNICEF terminates cooperation with local chapter

The United Nations children’s agency UNICEF has terminated its arrangement with the Hellenic National Committee, established in Greece as an independent non-government organization, “due to concerns arising out of a recent independent audit.”

“UNICEF has concluded that the necessary reforms in the group will not be achieved and we have taken steps accordingly,” the organization said in a statement.
