Turk PM urges Greece to avoid tension that could harm bilateral ties
One day after Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and his Turkish counterpart Binali Yildirim spoke over the phone about rising tension in the Aegean, the latter said Wednesday he had urged Athens to avoid actions that could damage bilateral relations.
“We explicitly expressed to [Tsipras] that staying away from tensions will be better with regards to relations between the two countries,” Yildirim was quoted as saying by daily newspaper Sabah.
