Man accused of drugging, raping two teenage girls
Police in Athens have arrested a 29-year-old man who has been accused by a 15-year-old girl of drugging and raping her and another friend, aged 16.
According to reports, the 15-year-old came home in a very bad state a few days ago and told her parents that she and her friend had been drugged and raped by the suspect. She said he had befriended them on social media and lured them to his home in southern Athens.
The girl’s parents immediately reported the incident to the police, which carried out a raid on the 29-year-old’s home and took him into custody after finding drugs and confiscating his computer, a camera and a memory stick that will be sent for analysis.
