Blast targets another bank ATM in Athens
Police were seeking the perpetrators who planted a homemade explosive device at a bank ATM in the early hours of Monday morning, blasting open the machine and fleeing with an undetermined sum.
The attack on a branch of National Bank was the latest in a string of similar hits.
The latest last week targeted an ATM machine on the facade of a supermarket in the Athens suburb of Dafni.
It is unclear whether the same assailants are behind all the attacks.
