Man charged with possession of child porn

A 52-year-old man who was jailed in May over the abduction and rape of a 22-year-old female student was charged on Tuesday with possession of child pornography as well.

Police said an examination of his computer hard drive which they had confiscated when they arrested him on the rape charge in May, revealed video and photos of minors.

Panayiotis Kontizelos is set to appear before a prosecutor on Thursday.
