Tension breaks out during student protest outside Education Ministry

Tension broke out between police and university students protesting outside the Education Ministry in Athens on Wednesday.

Protesters were demonstrating over conditions at state-run halls of residence.

Students have been occupying the premises of the Institute for Youth and Lifelong Learning (INEDIVIM), which has authority over the dorms, in protest at the poor housing conditions.
