OSE to stage three-hour walkout on Monday morning
A three-hour walkout by Hellenic Railways Organization (OSE) staff on Monday morning is to cause disruptions to train services across the country as well as some cancellations.
The action, which will start at 10 a.m., will also disrupt suburban railway services and the Athens metro’s connection to Athens International Airport.
Workers said they had planned the action to press their demand for the acceleration of efforts to improve the country’s rail network and in solidarity with the three victims of a train crash in Adendro near Thessaloniki in May.
Metro workers are also planning a 24-hour strike next Thursday, demanding better working conditions.
