Turkish aircraft back in the Aegean
Turkish aircraft carried out five violations of Greek air space in the northeastern, central and southeastern Aegean Thursday, according to Greek defense officials who said that one mock dogfight occurred.
The transgressions involved four F-16s and two helicopters, according to the defense officials, who said two of the aircraft were armed.
The fighter jets and helicopters were chased away by Greek aircraft in line with international rules of engagement.
